About

It all started with an impression and the rest, as they say, is history.

From small beginnings.

Back at the start, I founded a specialist self-adhesive label printing company in New Zealand named Impressions International.

For many years with a passionate and dedicated team supporting the business, we were leaders in the self-adhesive label market producing new, innovative products, finding new ways to produce labels more efficiently and more cost-effectively, and developing improved processes to minimise the environmental impact of our product.

Over the years we formed many valuable partnerships with customers and suppliers, including an enduring relationship with the world’s leading producer of colour change temperature indicating graphic devices & materials – TMC Hallcrest in the United Kingdom.

TMC Hallcrest is a world leader in Temperature Sensitive Materials which use colour change to give a visual indication of temperature. And we are their exclusive New Zealand agents.

Our services to you, the customer.

Smart Tags (NZ) Ltd was established in 2016 specifically to represent TMC Hallcrest’s range of colour change temperature indicating graphic devices & materials in New Zealand. Many of these are standard ‘off the shelf’ solutions which can be pre-ordered from us and delivered directly to you within just a few days. We can also develop a custom solution specific to your requirements.

We have worked with TMC Hallcrest for a number of years and familiar with all their products and capabilities. Using their specially formulated colour change materials, TMC Hallcrest has developed an impressive array of practical solutions to most temperature measurement problems across a wide range of applications. And all of these are available from us.

If you have a need to monitor temperature in any environment, including industrial, commercial, in-home, medical or food safety – especially where heat injury or damage may result – then you need to talk to us.
